advantages, disadvantages of DPF system?
Well dpf catches and removes those small nox particles from exhaust. Thats the job, but to do that manufacturers added dpf "cells" in exhaust that have a tendency to do so good job in nox removal that it will have an usagelimit just as any wear and tear part. So once dpf cells fill up with gunk from exhaustgasses it allso raises the turbos backpressure. Of course when we limit exhaustflow we allso bring the power down, more flow = better power so by removing dpf cell and software switch it off we can easily push the turbo to its max limits.
 
WHAT IS DPF CANCELLATION? 
DPF cancellation or dpf off is normally a so called switch solution. This switch in ecus software allows to turn all dpf functions on and off. Allso to make solution complete we remove all dpf related dtc codes.

How to do dpf off correctly:

Reset all dpf related values on original file. Now remove ecu for benching or read via obd.

Send for modification in our file service.we will turn dpf and related dtcs off. On some solutions you might need to disconnect temp and pressure sensors from dpf.

Remember that dpf off allso requires that dpf cell is removed  from the engines exhaustside, dpf offing and leaving dpf in place is NOT to be used. That will lead to dpf filling up of soot and prevents exhaust flow and will lead to turbo failure.

Write modfile now in and all then sorted.
